Step 1: Getting Artwork Started

Work closely with an HDG★ Tactical to supply all necessary information. This ensures the best design options for your project. We have several pricing options to meet any budget and timeline.

We understand you want to see what your badges, patches, etc., will look like to get approvals and buy-in from your team so we start every project with art proofs. We’ve made getting started easy:

  GOOD OPTION

Design Your Own Rough Draft Art Proof FAST & FREE. Create your own apparel using our Signature Design Lab™ by placing badge/patch shapes and text for your department on the back and sleeves. Save, print, or email the mockup to yourself and share with your team. Eventually all projects require final artwork so once this step is approved we can get started on your Final Design Art Proof with your choice of the BEST or ULTIMATE options below.

  BETTER OPTION

HDG★ Tactical will create a Rough Draft Art Proof for you. For a $25 deposit (credited towards your final order) we will create the Mockup for you using badge/patch shapes and text for your department on the back and sleeves. We will email you a Rough Draft Art Proof to share and get preliminary approval for your project. Eventually all projects require final artwork so once this step is approved we can get started on your Final Design Art Proof with your choice of the BEST or ULTIMATE options below.

  BEST OPTION

HDG★ Tactical will prepare a Final Design Art Proof. For a $100 deposit (credited towards your final order) one of our artwork professionals will recreate your actual department badge and patch in perfect detail. Exact requirements are established for the design as well as the strict specifications for its color matching and scale so this is the best option for getting quick approvals. We will email you a PDF of your Final Design Art Proof to share and get project approval from your entire team.

  ULTIMATE OPTION

Our Pre-Paid Final Design option includes everything from the BEST OPTION above along with Priority Service which means your order goes to the front of the line. This shows us you’ve seen what we do and have confidence in our work so we’ll give you and your project the VIP treatment. 

Step 2: Proof Approval

To ensure that our custom design has successfully met your requirements we always provide a pre-production Final Design Art Proof. Created by one of our expert designers, the Final Proof provides an accurate representation of the final product. Your prompt response will help prevent any delays in production of your final product(s). You can either print out the proof, sign with approval and fax to the number below or respond to our email with approval. To ensure accurate communication, any corrections and or changes must me made in writing either by fax or by email response.

Step 3: Production

Once you approve the Final Proof the project can be scheduled for production. During the final step, the approved proof is established as the standard to which final production will be matched.
